if you're bored, join them in groups and see if that messes up their tempo. It's fun watching the bots casting healing sig all at the wrong time..

We *all* can do one thing to help stop gaming bots. Don't buy GW gold from Ebay.

What many players don't understand is that there are companies that hire workers from developing countries to farm online games. One can only imagine (as there has been little reporting in this area) what their working conditions must be. Is child labor involved? What are these workers paid? Do they have unions? Labor laws?

When I confronted someone who'd bought GW gold from Ebay, he answered, "Well, maybe they like to play."

Indeed. Or maybe they enjoy not starving.

Haha wow. I just checked this out, it's pretty funny to see the constant stream of people in district 1. I walked out to try and see what wreckage they were botting but didn't see anything so i killed a dune lizard and moved on. =P

One must have a pretty sad life if he spend real money for virtual money. Really sad life.

Bots are lagging THE HELL out of that zone. You can barely move or talk there. Something needs to be done pretty soon, this has gotten to the point where it's attacking the server.

I'm surprised everyone is talking about this still.

Who cares? ANet is aware, thus, we should go on our way and let them deal.

There will be no public executions (yeah, the devs don't have enough to do already, let's give them something else to spend time on).

There will be no banning of people who the gold goes to (unless they track trades and constantly see trades of 50k+ going to one person from a suspected bot without anything in return over many days).

I pray they don't nerf the wreckage runs. That ruins it for me when I'm looking for some quick gold; not to mention my finding this last night on one run:

So just drop the ****ing subject.

If you have the time, name and shame with screenshots. But yeah, nothing we say now will change it. ANet knows. I'm sure they're working on something.

toastgodsupreme, not sure what you mean about *still* talking about this subject. This thread was just started yesterday, as far as I can see. Anyway, my response was meant to broaden the subject a bit, by looking at some of reasons *why* people use bots and the implications of that. Personally, I'd really like to see that discussion continued.

We do, obviously.

We're going to talk about it despite your rude attempt to convince us otherwise. In fact, talking about this and discussing what would be an improper fix is something that may very well stop them from nerfing wreckage runs, so perhaps you ought to care.

People should be encouraged to have their opinions, no matter how uninformed they may be. Ignorance can be cured. However, it is stupid to try to prevent communication on matters that concern everybody just because you don't like it.

Pretty funny stuff though. A steady stream of bots through a bunch of dancing, invisible instrument playing fools....lol
Too bad I'm at work or I'd be there still...lol

I sent GuildWars a email regarding the bot issue, and they told me i need to include detail in the email(which i didnt ). Details such as time of the incident, name of the charecter, the zone, and what the violation is. Gonna take a while getting all these names down
